Summer school update 30.07.21
Dear Parent,
We have had a busy and exciting week at Summer School, and we just wanted to thank you and the children for their excellent engagement throughout the week. We hope that it was a great introduction to Faringdon Community College, and we look forward to seeing the pupils again in September when they start secondary school.
Schools have been asked by PHE as part of their risk assessment, to make sure that they keep track of any covid related symptoms in children that have attended any Summer School. If your child develops/displays covid symptoms on Saturday (31st July) or Sunday (1st August) then please follow NHS guidance about testing, but it is important that you also inform the school via an email to Rachel Kenyon rmkenyon@fcc.faringdonlearningtrust.org as we may be asked to be involved in any potential contact tracing. Again, if your child subsequently tests positive, follow NHS test and trace guidance but also inform the school straight away by email to
rmkenyon@fcc.faringdonlearningtrust.org
If your child develops/displays covid symptoms after Sunday 1st August, again follow NHS guidance but you do not need to inform the school.
Finally, we hope that you have a great summer and that you all stay safe and well and we look forward to seeing you in September.
Very best wishes
Rachel Kenyon
