Educational Visits

Faringdon Community College is proud to provide students with a wealth of visits to enhance their curriculum and support their learning. The opportunities we are able to provide our students with are intended to further student interest and widen their experiences. Trips and visits consist of visits during school time, visits that take place outside the normal school day and residential visits during both term time and the school holidays. Participation in residential activities for KS4 and KS5 students is closely monitored to avoid disruption to their academic studies. Some of the visits will, inevitably, incur a cost, however there are systems in place to help support parents plan for these costs which will be highlighted when students are invited to attend trips. FCC reserves the right to refuse students whose behaviour in school could pose a risk when out of school. For the safety of other students on visits and staff, this includes students who fail to follow instructions.
