University talk for Year 11s

At the end of term 1, 2016, the school liaison officer from Peterhouse College, Cambridge visited FCC to talk to Year 11s who were interested in applying to a Russell Group university. The hour long talk covered a range of topics including, which subjects to study for certain university courses, what to start doing now in preparation for an Oxbridge application and what university life is like. The students also got involved in a couple of games which illustrated how ALevel subjects may or may not be necessary for various careers. It's always a good idea to start investigating different university options in Year 11. Any queries - do contact Mrs Viner.
