Student Leadership

At FCC we believe that the whole school community is best served by providing a rich and wide-ranging number of opportunities for students of all ages and interests to participate in leadership roles.  Therefore, we have created a variety of meaningful ways that students can contribute to enriching community life - both within FCC and further afield in Faringdon itself and across the Faringdon Academy of Schools.

Many leadership roles are part of a hierarchy of opportunities and so students are not only able to have a hand in supporting others, but are themselves mentored by staff and other students, whilst in their own leadership position.

Students are encouraged to take part in these opportunities throughout the school year.  Celina Viner, Assistant Headteacher for student development, oversees the student leadership network.
