Course Accreditation: AS/A LEVEL PSYCHOLOGY                         


Examining Board: AQA

Method of Assessment:
AS - 2 x 1.5 hour exams.
A2 – 3 x 2 hour exams.
No coursework, though practicals are carried out as part of the course to prepare you for the research section of the exams.
The course is linear and most students take the full A Level which means you only sit 3 exams at the end of A2.

Time Allocation: 4 hours per week

Private Study Requirement:
Regular assignments and/or private study will be set after every lesson. 
Homework will regularly involve working on a topic ready for class discussion.
Regular exam questions will be set as homework tasks.
Practical work will sometimes be set as part of homework tasks.
