Faringdon Community College is part of the Faringdon Academy of Schools, an eight school multi-academy trust, which was established on 1st April 2012.


Are you a motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic and dynamic teacher of Mathematics who can inspire students of all ages and abilities to be the best they can be? 


We are seeking to appoint a Head of Mathematics who will have the presence, experience and vision to further develop a thriving department. A good knowledge of current issues and educational developments, specifically in relation to improving the progress made by less-able students will be required. 


The successful applicant will be a highly skilled teacher who is organised and passionate about their subject with the ability to lead by example. They will be required to teach KS3 and GCSE Mathematics. The ability and desire to teach ‘A’ level is desirable, but not essential.
