Electronic Products

In this course you will be designing and making products which will include an electronic circuit. The circuit will be contained in a casing which you will also design and make or buy in ready-made.

You will learn how electronics is used in today’s society and develop your knowledge, skills and understanding of electronic components and how they can be connected together to form useful electronic devices.

You will be using the tools and processes needed to work efficiently and safely with these components. Typical examples of projects would include ‘design and make an alarm system to protect a bike’, ‘design and make a sensing device to activate a light when darkness falls’, ‘design and make a timing device to help a busy cook to prepare meals on time’.
